In the world of video games, there are giants, and then there’s EA Sports. This Canadian tech behemoth is the creative force behind FIFA, the world’s most popular soccer video game. But this year, they decided to kick it up a notch and rebranded FIFA as “Football Club” or simply “FC.” It was a monumental change, and they wanted to celebrate it in style.
And that’s where we came in!
Bella Gelateria, known for crafting the finest artisan gelato, had the immense pleasure of catering to over 1,000 EA Sports employees at their annual rebranding party at their headquarters in Burnaby. It was a day filled with excitement, fun, and of course, our delicious gelato.
As gelato enthusiasts and event connoisseurs, we’ve done our fair share of catering gigs. But this one, oh, it was something special! Serving up scoops to a thousand smiling faces is no small feat, and we were ready to tackle the challenge head-on.
We rolled out not one, but two gelato carts, ensuring that every EA employee got a taste of our delightful creations. From classic favourites like Chocolate Belgian Brownie and Madagascar Vanilla to inventive, seasonal flavours of Banana Bread, our gelato was a hit across the board. And you know what they say, “a party without gelato is just a meeting!”
Celebrating a Milestone
The rebranding of FIFA to FC marked a significant milestone for EA Sports. It’s not every day that a brand with such a global presence decides to reinvent itself, and we were honoured to be a part of this historic celebration.
The atmosphere was electric. There was a buzz of excitement in the air as EA Sports employees mingled, indulged in gelato, and toasted to their continued success. We couldn’t help but feel the energy and enthusiasm that EA Sports brings to everything they do.
Our Sweetest Achievement Yet
As we scooped gelato and shared laughs with EA employees, we realized that this was our largest catering event to date. Serving over a thousand guests was no small feat, but it was a challenge we embraced with open arms. After all, what’s Bella Gelateria without a little scoop of ambition?!
